AML Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of transactions across our gaming platform to detect and report suspicious activity and also co-ordinate the collating of customer documentation;
  • Evaluate and identify suspicious behavior, investigate, and work together with other stakeholders to take the appropriate action according to the level of risk;
  • Creating internal reports of unusual or suspicious transactions and/or activities to be escalated to the MLRO;
  • Investigating potential PEP or potential Sanctions List matches;
  • Carryout ongoing transaction monitoring;
  • Implement AML compliance programs tailored to the specific needs of the gaming industry;
  • Assisting the MLRO with any ad-hoc reporting or tasks;
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies as required; and,
  • Stay updated with changes in AML legislation and adjust monitoring tools and practices accordingly.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an AML compliance role, within the gaming industry;
  • A qualification in AML or a related field would be considered an asset;
  • A willingness to learn and a can-do approach as part of a dynamic and fast-growing team;
  • Strong understanding of AML gaming regulations and the ability to apply them in context;
  • Organizational and communication skills;
  • High attention to detail, takes initiative and a team player; and,
  • You are able to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays if required.
